1. Periodic washing should be done to remove any salt and/or environmental hazards.
2. Make sure you follow the manufacturers maintenance schedule! (They know best!)
3.Use the correct octane/cetane fuel that is required.
4. Be mindful of your vehicle's warning lights and know what they mean.
5. Check your fluids every time you fill up and make sure you top off as necessary.
6. Check your alignment periodically, especially after a rough pothole season.
7. Change your windshield wipers before your visibility is obfuscated.
8. Consider rubber floor mats to protect carpeting.
9. Since tires are the only part of your vehicle to touch the road. It is important to properly maintain them. Every fuel fill up, you should verify the pressure and correct as needed. At least once a month you should check tread depth and inspect for abnormal wear. Tires are legally worn out at 2/32 but performance and handling begins to decline at 4/32. For winter driving, all season tires should be at least 6/32, though for safest driving, we recommend snow tires for the winter months.
10. Lastly, when in doubt, bring it out!
